It is unlawful for any person to instruct the practice of barbering in a barber school unless the person is licensed by the Board to do so.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 643.205
- Barber school: includes a school of barbering, college of barbering and any other place or institution of instruction training persons to engage in the practice of barbering. See Nevada Revised Statutes 643.010
- Board: means the State Barbers" Health and Sanitation Board. See Nevada Revised Statutes 643.010
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
- Practice of barbering: means any of the following practices for cosmetic purposes:
(a) Shaving or trimming the beard, cutting or trimming the hair, or hair weaving. See Nevada Revised Statutes 643.010
