It is unlawful for any foreign corporation, association or business trust to conduct any business as a mortgage company within this State, unless it:

- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
1. Qualifies under chapter 80 of NRS; and
2. Complies with the provisions of this chapter or, if it claims an exemption from the provisions of this chapter, complies with the requirements for that exemption.
