Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 211:43
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The word “resident” as used in this subdivision when applied to a corporation shall mean a corporation organized under the laws of this state. The word “nonresident” as used in this subdivision when applied to a corporation shall mean a corporation organized under the laws of another state.
