Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 214:13-b

  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies corporate and politic as well as to individuals. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:9
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
  • Veteran: means any person who:
    (1) Served in the United States armed forces for more than 4 years and continues to serve; or
    (2) Has been discharged or released from duty in the United States armed forces with:
    (A) An honorable discharge; or
    (B) An uncharacterized discharge based on a service-connected injury, illness, or disability. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:50
The executive director may issue upon application complimentary nonresident hunting and fishing licenses to a person from another state who is suffering from paraplegia or who is suffering from the loss of, or the loss of the use of, both lower extremities, or is a totally and permanently disabled veteran, who would be eligible if a resident under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 214:13, if the state in which said person is a resident provides a reciprocal privilege for residents of this state who are similarly suffering. The executive director shall determine the form of such complimentary licenses. All such licenses shall be consecutively numbered. A license issued under this section shall be effective for the lifetime of the applicant unless sooner suspended or revoked by the executive director.
