- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
In lieu of the provisions of N.H. Rev. Stat. § 293-A:8.40(c), every insurer subject to this chapter may have and continuously maintain in this state a clerk who shall be the registered agent of the insurer and who shall be an individual resident of this state whose residence or business office shall be the registered office of the insurer.
