Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 401:9
- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Such articles of amendment shall thereupon be recorded as provided in N.H. Rev. Stat. § 401:6, and shall then be deemed to be part of the charter or articles of the company.
