Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 415-D:11

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
No policy of group long-term care insurance affecting a resident of New Hampshire, whether such policy is delivered or issued for delivery in this state or any other state, and no certificate under such policy nor any application, rider, endorsement or amendment used in connection with the policy shall be delivered or issued for delivery in this state until a copy of the form of the policy and of the classification of risks and the premium rates have been filed with the insurance commissioner, nor until the expiration of 30 days after filing, unless the commissioner shall sooner give his written approval for delivery or issue.
