Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:3-b

  • Commissioner: means the commissioner of the department of environmental services. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:1-a
  • Department: means the department of environmental services. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:1-a
  • Person: means any individual, partnership, company, public or private corporation, political subdivision or agency of the state, department, agency or instrumentality of the United States, or any other legal entity. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 485:1-a
  • state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
I. Any person, except for state and local governments including counties and political subdivisions, that requests an expedited review of environmental site assessment reports by the department shall pay to the department a review fee based on the equalized assessed valuation of the property as determined in rules adopted by the commissioner under RSA 541-A, shall be as follows:

II. The department shall provide written comments within 60 days after the date such reports and the required fees are received by the department.
