- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
Where any provision of a statute repealed by house bill no. 75 of the 1955 session of the general court is substantially reenacted in the Revised Statutes Annotated, the law shall be deemed to have continued in force from the first enactment as if no reenactment and repeal had taken place.
