Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 17:48-1.1

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any contract made by a corporation subject to the provisions of the act to which this act is a supplement, may provide for the furnishing of hospital services where the services of licensed dentists are required.
