Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 17:9A-57

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
Every note evidencing an installment loan shall contain a statement that such loan was made pursuant to this article. If this article or any section hereof shall be amended, no reference to such amendment need be made in such statement.
