Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 18A:33-3.1
- Board: means the board of education. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:1-1
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- Student: means a child 18 years of age or younger who is enrolled at a school in the State. See New Jersey Statutes 18A:33-3.2
1. A board of education may establish a program through which the parent or guardian of a student may prepay for lunches served to the student in the school cafeteria.
