- Attorney-at-law: A person who is legally qualified and licensed to practice law, and to represent and act for clients in legal proceedings.
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
The Director of the Division of Workmen’s Compensation and each judge of compensation shall be an attorney-at-law of the State of New Jersey.
