- Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
13. a. The board shall establish standards for the approval or recognition of courses of stud and schools, completion of which will satisfy the requirements of subsection c. of section 9 of this act.
