Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 45:3A-13

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 16. Every person licensed to practice landscape architecture shall have a seal of a type approved by the board, which shall contain the name of the landscape architect, his license number, the legend “licensed landscape architect” and other words or figures as the board may deem necessary. All working drawings and specifications prepared by the landscape architect or under the supervision of the landscape architect shall be stamped with the seal and shall be signed on the original, with the personal signature of the licensed landscape architect, when filed with public officials. The board may by regulation, change or modify the requirements as to the signing and sealing of documents.
