  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 13. Upon payment to the board of a fee and the submission of a written application on forms provided by it, the board shall issue a temporary license to a person who has applied for licensure pursuant to this act, provided that the applicant meets the requirements of subsections a., b., and c. of section 9 of this act and who, in the judgment of the board, after consultation with the committee, is eligible for examination. An applicant with a temporary license may practice only under the direct supervision of a licensed perfusionist. A temporary license shall expire one year from its date of issuance, but may be renewed for an additional one-year period. This temporary license shall be surrendered to the board upon its expiration.
