Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 45:9A-14

  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. A person who holds a certificate of endorsement shall notify the committee in writing of the address of the place or places where he engages or intends to engage in the practice of fitting or dispensing of hearing aids.

The committee shall keep a record of the places of practices of persons who hold licenses or certificates of endorsements. Any notice required to be given by the committee to a person who holds a license or certificate of endorsement may be given by mailing it to him at the address given by him to the committee.
