  • person: includes corporations, companies, associations, societies, firms, partnerships and joint stock companies as well as individuals, unless restricted by the context to an individual as distinguished from a corporate entity or specifically restricted to one or some of the above enumerated synonyms and, when used to designate the owner of property which may be the subject of an offense, includes this State, the United States, any other State of the United States as defined infra and any foreign country or government lawfully owning or possessing property within this State. 10. Any person who owns a limousine service shall require an applicant for employment as a limousine operator or driver to be tested, at the applicant’s expense, for dangerous controlled substances as defined in N.J.S. 2C:35-2 The Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall adopt regulations, pursuant to the “Administrative Procedure Act,” P.L.1968, c.410 (C. 52:14B-1 et seq.), for the licensing and testing of applicants for employment as limousine operators or drivers. The regulations shall be substantially similar to the regulations of New York City concerning the testing of an applicant for a for-hire vehicle driver’s license pursuant to section 6-15 of Title 35 of the New York City Rules and Regulations.
