Nothing in this act [30-18-9, 30-18-10 N.M. Stat. Ann.] shall be construed to prohibit or make unlawful the taking of game animals, game birds or game fish by the use of dogs, provided the person so doing is licensed as provided by law and is using such dogs in a lawful manner.
