§ 58-1101. Benefits of funds.
Terms Used In N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law 58-1101
- Department: shall mean the department of environmental conservation. See N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law 58-0101
- Disadvantaged communities: shall mean a community that is identified pursuant to section 75-0111 of this chapter. See N.Y. Environmental Conservation Law 58-0101
The department shall make every effort practicable to achieve a goal that forty percent of the funds pursuant to this article benefit disadvantaged communities; however, disadvantaged communities shall receive no less than thirty-five percent of the benefit of the funds pursuant to this article.
