§ 1395. No control by other boards or commissions. Except as herein otherwise expressly provided, the authority, in the issuance of its bonds or other obligations, and in the exercise of its powers provided in this act for the fixing, charging and collecting of fees, rentals, or other charges, shall not be subject to the jurisdiction, control or regulation of any commission, department, board, officer, or agency of the city, or of the state or any political subdivision thereof.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
