§ 2895. Declaration of policy and statement of purpose. It is hereby declared and found that the health and safety of the people of the state of New York require that the administration of medical facilities providing nursing home accommodations be adequate and proper, and that the quality of such administrative services is related to the calibre of training and experience of the persons administering such facilities. It is the purpose of this article to establish standards of education, training and experience and provide for the examination, licensure and registration of nursing home administrators.
