The Board of Trustees of North Carolina State University shall adopt personnel policies governing the employment of the employees of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service who are exempted from certain provisions of Chapter 126 of the N.C. Gen. Stat. pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 126-5(c1)(9a). (2007-195, s. 2.)

- Board: means the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina. See North Carolina General Statutes 116-2
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies.
