(a)        Any person subject to this Article is deemed to have:

(1)        Consented to the jurisdiction of the courts of this State for all actions arising under this Article; and

(2)        Appointed the Secretary of State as such person’s agent for the purpose of accepting service of process in any action, suit, or proceeding that may arise under this Article.

(b)        For the purposes of this Article, the Commissioner shall be deemed to have complied with the requirements of law concerning service of process upon mailing by certified mail any notice required or permitted to a person subject to this Article, postage prepaid and addressed to the last known address on file with the Commissioner. ?(2016-81, s. 1; 2017-102, s. 46.)
