Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 58-10-700
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. (a) The purpose of this Part is to establish the requirements for maintaining a risk management framework and completing an Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and to establish guidance and instructions for filing an ORSA Summary Report with the Commissioner.
(b) The requirements of this Part shall apply to all insurers domiciled in this State unless exempt pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 58-10-725. (2017-136, s. 1.)
