1.    Any abortion facility that performs abortions shall display signs that contain exclusively the following words: “NOTICE: No one can force you to have an abortion. It is against the law for a spouse, a boyfriend, a parent, a friend, a medical care provider, or any other person to in any way force you to have an abortion.” 2.    The signs must be located so that the signs can be read easily and in areas that ensure maximum visibility to women at the time a woman gives consent to an abortion.

  • Person: means an individual, organization, government, political subdivision, or government agency or instrumentality. See North Dakota Code 1-01-49

3.    The display of signs pursuant to this section does not discharge any other legal duty of an abortion facility or physician.

4.    The department of health and human services shall make the signs required by this section available for download in a printable format on its internet website.
