Terms Used In Ohio Code 4758.46

  • Prevention services: means a comprehensive, multi-system set of individual and environmental approaches that maximizes physical health, promotes safety, and precludes the onset of behavioral health disorders. See Ohio Code 4758.01

(A) Be at least eighteen years of age;

(B) Have at least a high school diploma or certificate of high school equivalence;

(C) Have at least the number of hours specified in rules adopted under section 4758.20 of the Revised Code of compensated or volunteer work, field placement, intern, or practicum experience in prevention services;

(D) Have at least the number of hours specified in rules adopted under section 4758.20 of the Revised Code of prevention-related education that meets the requirements specified in those rules.

This presentation recognizes the principle stated in R.C. 1.52(B) that amendments are to be harmonized if reasonably capable of simultaneous operation.
