The county court or county governing body, on the claim of the applicant for reward under ORS § 131.885 to 131.895, shall determine whether the claimant is entitled to the reward. If it so determines, it shall certify the amount offered in reward, or a proportionate share thereof if more than one claimant is entitled, to the county clerk of the county and the county clerk shall draw a warrant on the treasurer of the county for the amount so authorized.
