(1) All real property sold at an execution sale may be redeemed except for a leasehold interest with an unexpired term of less than two years.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Execution: means enforcement of the money award portion of a judgment or enforcement of a judgment requiring delivery of the possession or sale of specific real or personal property, by means of writs of execution, writs of garnishment and other statutory or common law writs or remedies that may be available under the law. See Oregon Statutes 18.005
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.

(2) A manufactured dwelling, as defined by ORS § 446.003, may be redeemed only if the manufactured dwelling is sold together with the real property on which the manufactured dwelling is located.

(3) The right of a seller to receive payments under a land sale contract that is sold with the real property may be redeemed.

(4) Except as provided in ORS § 18.987 (3), a purchaser’s interest in a land sale contract may be redeemed. [2005 c.542 § 38]
