Oregon Statutes 222.130 – Annexation election; notice; ballot title
(1) The statement summarizing the measure and its major effect in the ballot title for a proposal for annexation shall contain a general description of the boundaries of each territory proposed to be annexed. The description shall use streets and other generally recognized features. Notwithstanding ORS § 250.035, the statement summarizing the measure and its major effect may not exceed 150 words.

- City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
(2) The notice of an annexation election shall be given as provided in ORS § 254.095, except that in addition the notice shall contain a map indicating the boundaries of each territory proposed to be annexed.
(3) Whenever simultaneous elections are held in a city and the territory to be annexed, the same notice and publication shall fulfill the requirements of publication for the city election and the election held in the territory.
