(1) No later than 30 days after a petition alleging jurisdiction under ORS § 419B.100 is filed, each party about whom allegations have been made shall admit or deny the allegations. Unless the court specifies how admissions or denials are to be made pursuant to ORS § 419B.800, admissions and denials may be made orally in court or in writing.

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
