The officer in charge of the domestic water supply source or the community water supply system serving the city shall investigate complaints made concerning purity of the source or system and if the complaint appears to be well founded, file a complaint against the person violating ordinances of the city and cause arrest and prosecution.   • Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
  • City: includes any incorporated village or town. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
