Unless it is shown that the person, including an insurer, acted with actual malice, a person who discloses or provides information under ORS § 731.592 has immunity from any civil liability that might otherwise be incurred or imposed with respect to the disclosure or provision of the information. A person has the same immunity with respect to participating in any judicial proceeding resulting from the disclosure or provision of information. [1999 c.633 § 4]
