No offsets shall be allowed in cases of mutual debts or mutual credits between the insurer and another person in connection with any domestic delinquency proceeding under this chapter, except for cases of policy loans and cases of reinsurance and except for insurance producers’ balances, excluding unearned return commissions. Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 734.370
- Delinquency proceeding: means any proceeding commenced against an insurer pursuant to this chapter for the purpose of liquidating, rehabilitating or conserving the insurer. See Oregon Statutes 734.014
- Person: includes individuals, corporations, associations, firms, partnerships, limited liability companies and joint stock companies. See Oregon Statutes 174.100
