The Keep Kids Safe Registration Plate Account is established within the Department of Early Learning and Care Fund. All moneys received by the Department of Early Learning and Care from the sale of Keep Kids Safe registration plates shall be deposited into the account and are continuously appropriated to the department to be distributed to counties as provided in ORS § 805.205. 805.207 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of the Oregon Vehicle Code or any chapter or series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
