(a) The office shall provide the board with appropriate staff, who shall perform their duties under the administrative supervision of the director of the department of business regulation or the director’s designee.
Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 5-65-15.1
- Board: means the contractors' registration and licensing board established pursuant to the provisions of § 5-65-14 or its designees. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-65-1
- Office: means the state building office established pursuant to § 5-84-3. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-65-1
- Staff: means any staff necessary to carry out the powers, functions, and duties of the board, or the office, including inspectors, hearing officers, and other supportive staff. See Rhode Island General Laws 5-65-1
(b) The board may delegate the powers, functions, and duties to the provided staff.
