There is established a program of the Long-Term Care Ombudsperson to be administratively attached to the department of elderly affairs in accordance with its mandate under § 42-66-4 and the Older Americans Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3001 et seq.

Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws 42-66.7-2
- Elderly: means any person sixty (60) years of age or older who is a resident of any facility. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-66.7-3
- Ombudsperson: means the person or persons designated by the director. See Rhode Island General Laws 42-66.7-3
