- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
The provisions of §§ 41-7-20 to 41-7-40 shall not apply to any contract, otherwise lawful, in force and effect on March 19, 1954, but they shall apply to all contracts thereafter concluded and to any renewal or extension of existing contracts.
