Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
ordinance: as used in this title shall mean a permanent legislative act of the governing body of a municipality within the limits of its powers. See South Dakota Codified Laws 9-19-1
Person: includes natural persons, partnerships, associations, cooperative corporations, limited liability companies, and corporations. See South Dakota Codified Laws 2-14-2
