Terms Used In Tennessee Code 4-5-217
- Agency: means each state board, commission, committee, department, officer, or any other unit of state government authorized or required by any statute or constitutional provision to make rules or to determine contested cases. See Tennessee Code 4-5-102
In addition to other rulemaking requirements imposed by law, each agency shall adopt rules of practice setting forth the nature and requirements of all formal and informal procedures available, including, where practical, a description of all forms and instructions used by the agency.
