Terms Used In Tennessee Code 43-16-104
- Agricultural products: includes horticultural, viticultural, forestry, dairy, livestock, poultry, bee and any farm products. See Tennessee Code 43-16-103
- Association: means any corporation organized under this chapter. See Tennessee Code 43-16-103
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
Eleven (11) or more persons, a majority of whom are residents of this state, engaged in the production of agricultural products, may form a nonprofit, cooperative association, with or without capital stock, under this chapter.
