Terms Used In Tennessee Code 49-5-408
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Month: means a calendar month. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- written: includes printing, typewriting, engraving, lithography, and any other mode of representing words and letters. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
All teachers shall make a written contract with the director of schools or board of education at a fixed salary per month before entering upon the teachers’ duties.
