Terms Used In Tennessee Code 62-2-402

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105

The following shall be considered as minimum evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant is qualified for registration as an engineer intern: a graduate in a curriculum of four (4) years or more leading to a baccalaureate degree in engineering or the completion of post-graduate coursework in engineering curriculum leading to a master’s degree or higher in engineering or engineering technology and approved by the board as of satisfactory standing or who is a prospective graduate in good standing in the senior year in such a curriculum, and who passes an examination prepared by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying involving the fundamentals of engineering; provided, that the applicant is of good character and repute.
