  • Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105

In addition to other remedies, an action of injunction may be brought and maintained by the state or any other interested party to enjoin the violation of this part.
