(a) Each continuing education course approved by the board may subsequently be reviewed and, upon evidence of significant variation from the program application submitted, all or any part of the approved hours may be disapproved.

Terms Used In Tennessee Code 62-5-607

  • Board: means the board of funeral directors and embalmers. See Tennessee Code 62-5-101
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • Representative: when applied to those who represent a decedent, includes executors and administrators, unless the context implies heirs and distributees. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(b) The board or its representative shall be admitted to continuing education courses at no charge in order to monitor the licensees present, the content of the course and supporting paperwork.
