- County mayor: means and includes "county executive" unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
The county legislative bodies of the various counties are hereby granted authority to fix the salary of any county mayor in an amount in excess of the amount guaranteed in § 8-24-102 or § 8-24-113.
