Terms Used In Texas Election Code 181.063
- Primary election: means an election held by a political party under Chapter 172 to select its nominees for public office, and, unless the context indicates otherwise, the term includes a presidential primary election. See Texas Election Code 1.005
The hours and places for convening the county convention and precinct conventions held under this chapter shall be set as provided by Section 174.022 for setting the hours and places of precinct conventions of a party holding a primary election.
