Terms Used In Texas Finance Code 275.002
- National Bank: A bank that is subject to the supervision of the Comptroller of the Currency. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is a bureau of the U.S. Treasury Department. A national bank can be recognized because it must have "national" or "national association" in its name. Source: OCC
In this chapter:
(1) “Fiduciary institution” means a:
(A) state bank with trust powers;
(B) national bank with trust powers; or
(C) trust company.
(2) “Stock” means a unit of participation in the net asset value of one or more of the investment funds of a mutual trust investment company.
