Terms Used In Texas Government Code 2165.153
- Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Week: means seven consecutive days. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The commission shall advertise a lease proposal under this subchapter once a week for four consecutive weeks in at least two newspapers, one of which is published in the municipality in which the property is located or in the daily paper nearest to the property, and the other of which has statewide circulation.
