- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
In this chapter, “financial advisor or service provider” includes a person or business entity who acts as a financial advisor, financial consultant, money or investment manager, or broker.
